About me
Juliano Calvo is a Career Technical Education (CTE) teacher at Hoover High School in Glendale Unified School District. He is a Teach Plus EBCAN, an ELLLI Fellow with CalTog, and serves as a member of the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Working Group for guidance for the safe and effective use of AI in California public schools for the CDE.Juliano is dedicated to supporting newcomer students and multilingual learners through inclusive, forward-thinking practices. His work explores how artificial intelligence can be thoughtfully integrated to align with the English Learner (EL) Roadmap, helping educators personalize instruction, remove barriers, and better meet the diverse needs of students entering new educational systems.
