As an Academic Officer for Teacher Created Materials, Jamey Goulet leads teacher training sessions and collaborates with school districts for instructional planning while also assisting in the development and alignment of educational content. Jamey is an accomplished educator with a strong commitment to supporting multilingual learners. Formerly serving as the English Learner Teacher on Special Assignment (EL TOSA) and EL Coordinator for Upland Unified School District, she played a pivotal role in developing and implementing systems that enhance the success of multilingual students, including those in the Dual Language Immersion Academy. Mrs. Goulet led district-wide initiatives aimed at improving ELD implementation, streamlining the reclassification process, and advancing professional development for teachers (TK-12) on effective instructional practices for multilingual learners. In recognition of her dedication and advocacy for students, Jamey was honored as a 2024 Countywide Award recipient by the San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools (SBCSS). Her leadership extends across the district and school sites, where she provides essential guidance for English Learner programs and services. Before her current role, Mrs. Goulet served as a Reading Specialist at Upland Elementary School, where she fostered a passion for literacy in her students. With a Master of Science in Education (Literacy and Reading), a Reading Specialist Credential, and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies with a Literacy Option, she has a robust educational background that complements her practical experience. Additionally, she has worked as an educational consultant, delivering training nationwide, further cementing her advocacy for all students, especially multilingual learners.
